Sent with good will for the festive season.

Richard McLean, human rights awarded and international speaker and 
author of 'Recovered, Not Cured, a journey through schizophrenia', 
(Allen and Unwin, 2003), invites you to be involved in his immediate 
project, in times of fluctuating illness, yet profound fertile 
creativity, that just might induce massive change for the good 
promoting mental health.

He is now writing a spectral new novel, that will literally blow people 
away, and unflinchingly expose and examine the state of Mental Health 
issues in Australia and abroad.

One of his definitions of 'hell', is to have the knowledge and 
potential, to consciously make changes towards actualization, 
personally, or in society, and not acting upon it. Please help him make 
his valid and considered contribution based on years of personal and 
professional experience...

The book reviews mental illness medically, holistically, personally, 
scientifically, spiritually, and also in terms of shamanism, in the 
context of self, society and the perspective of government and 
institutional viewpoints.

WORKING TITLE: 'The Truth Teller, Validate their voices; Validate my 
voice'.

He has 3 months of up and coming hard work to tackle his multimedia, 
web, and written presentation in the form of a new book, downloadable 
music, interviews, and art, before returning after his break to his job 
as 'consumer consultant' for a Mental Health Service in Melbourne, 
Australia, advocating for people suffering the burden, and sometimes 
retrospective gift, of mental illness.

Well known in the Australian Media, and North America, as a speaker 
advocate and presenter, including much TV and Radio, Parliament house 
(Canberra), speaking to schoolchildren, organizations, and community 
groups, he is also a well known illustrator,  musician and multimedia 
web designer.

The plan is to make an aggressive multimedia and public, yet personal 
statement on the state of mental wellness, support and care, 
prevention, how it is viewed by community, governments, authorities, 
institutions, peers, the family unit, and importantly, youth.

He sincerely requests a direly needed tokenistic donation from YOU - 
friends, associates, colleagues, and institutions, of $2 and upwards , 
to afford financial holistic support for rent, food etc while he 
pursues his passionate mandate whilst on leave...
