This has been a really interesting project.
As a number of people have remarked, it's been food
for thought too .I originally felt that the premise
was a little over fussy and unwieldy but its always a
pleasure to be proved comprehensively wrong.
I've enjoyed all the residencies -it's a great idea &
it fits the list format beautifully.
I've been struck also, particularly with Rich and
Jason's residencies, by the sheer generosity of spirit
involved ( clearly masses of work taken on by the
artists concerned, a real openness to others in
varying ways) - this contrasts nicely with the dog eat
dog way the present day artworld is presented and
perceived ( and often , unfortunately, is).
