WWW Celebrates 15th Birthday - or Does It?

Depending which point of view you prefer, the World Wide Web either is 
or isn't quietly celebrating its 15th birthday.

As per the Wikipedia article on the web, on 6 August 1991 Tim 
Berners-Lee "posted a short summary of the World Wide Web project on the 
alt.hypertext newsgroup. This date also marked the debut of the Web as a 
publicly available service on the Internet."
