Ken,
Monday was the fourth day I'd spent standing up for 7.5 hrs counting
thousands of christmas cards designed by primary school kids, into packs
of 12 with envelopes. I got pretty pi$$ed off with it - and everything
else. I can't see much outside of my own little world at the moment .
Got to.... ...find.... ....windscreen wiper.... switch.
I agree with you 100% here:
"In the end though, it's the result that counts, and we all have our
preferences and leanings relating to our experiences and conscience or
philosophy or inclinations and temper towards others and a belief
structure and an enquiring mind which we all hope is part and parcel of
our make up as human beings..."
I don't quite follow by what you mean about grinding your own mind and
the free availability of it:
"I used to grind my own paint in order to get the colour I
wanted. I think grinding one's own mind is an equivalent. But it's not
freely available."
regards,
James.
Sidenote: The only point of interest for counting christmas cards
designed by primary school children: I form impressions of the attitude
of the teacher towards art. Some of the classes are really expressive,
bizzare, raw, and individual, while in others, blanket uniformity:
bright yellow christmas puddings, robins made of circles and triangles,
angels made of blue hand prints, etc.
