[NetBehaviour] folly @ futuresonic

Artist Jaygo Bloom has been commissioned by folly to develop the sound work 
for this year’s Futuresonic festivalFuturesonic is the UK’s leading electronic and
media arts festival, and takes place in Manchester July 20-23, 2006.
 
This is the first folly commission that utilises the digital signage, locative 
and network technologies that will feature in a number of new activities being 
developed by folly in various locations over the next year. 

is an audible assailt in locative media, 3 sound units have been 
located with a touch screen interface accessible from the street, strategically 
placed to target the Futuresonic Festival, Urban Play in 8 bit style. 

This innovative work can be experienced at these locations in Manchester’s 
Northern Quarter between July 20 and 23, 2006: 

> Bambers Art Space (Futuresonic festival hub) 

> 1830 Warehouse at the Science Museum 

> Oklahoma
