I do agree almost totally with what Marc writes; for me it's not a 
question of domination or will - that model relates to 19th-century 
modernism, even to the notion of a dominating self or at least a 
super-ego. The net is far more porous, susceptible; my work is an 
infinitesimal section of cranium that finds the model of brain, mind,
and cranium itself troublesome. I feel I ride the wave of plant and
animal extinctions which now occupies and diffuses much of the biome
of the planet - there's an urgency to the world. We're writing and
working not in the last days, but in a period of inconceivable suf-
fering, a period in which the last vestiges of the natural are wounded
by our presence. That's no excuse for cross-posting, but it's a
partial explanation of thinking about and attempting planar instead of
linear communication.
