the big clock struck the hour of doom
the small clock struck the hour of gloom
all of us heard the distant boom
as the boom was lowered and the room
shrank plank to plank and the flume
burst in the gloom of a womb
and doom as flooding made a tomb
from the room spurting a plume
of smoke choked and yoked to a fume
from the thunder's womb, va voom, va voom,
va voom, va voom, va voom, va voom.
