I never used floppies but made a number of say 2x4, 3x5 etc. animation 
reductions from Blender years ago - you'd have charged changing pixels on 
the screen. On a related matter, how many people have used floppy-based 
linux systems? I had a bunch at one time - you could boot from them. One 
was in full color and had a crude gui as well - Alan, remember Tom's linux 
among others. (They worked in ram btw - you could remove the floppy while 
the os ran & access your hard drive too.)
