Hi Simon and sorry for the late reply. You were writing about the Net 
lasting - and yes, except for VRML and those VRML viewers (maybe because 
stuff was pronounced "virmel" at the time!). I remember teaching html 1 
and how easy it was for people to set up 'home pages.'

You might be interested in reading the Forum on the future of Odyssey on 
Ning - Odyssey - a lot of issues arose when Sugar Seville, who as manag- 
ing the site, left - and these issues show just how fragile Second Life, 
and for that matter, any other singular corporate site, is. Luckily things 
are being worked out, but it might well not have gone that way...
