KLEE FLOWERS

174 images, 1280x1024
dbCinema slidvid, image creation/generation/destruction/collage/synthesis;
flowers and birds of an other orrery: the klee brush traverses an ellipse,
"an apparatus for representing the positions, motions, and phases of the
planets, satellites, etc., in the solar system"; the harmony of the spheres
is in the resonance of the rotation speed of the brush with the length of
the iterated oval the brush traverses, and the speed with which it does so;
when the resonance is strong, cohesive form of fewer petals arises. as was
observed in 'harmonograph' by anthony ashton, 'a visual guide to the
mathematics of music'.
the generation of forms, not simply the deconstruction or collage of images;
the klee images as 'paint' here in feather state, elsewhere as skinning
non-euclidean gourds, seed pods, souvenirs of portalorrery, wheels of brain
change, gears of gourdy dynamos, solar system shells of klee sea music,
gauzy colored mail of veya, klee flowers exfoliating from your mind.
