And Microsoft. There's a debate going on in the UK about how to teach
children computing. At the moment the curriculum is basically MS Office
studies. There are calls to include programming.
But even supposedly progressive projects like the raspberry Pi computer
rely on proprietary software and lock off parts of the system they are
meant to exist only to open up for study.
