[NetBehaviour] Alan and his birthday buddies

actually Alan puts me in mind of Beckett, not because of any stylistic similarities ( although, God knows, he's made so much  and such diverse work some of it probably calls Beckett to mind) but because there is often such  a rich vein of humour, even in the darkest of his work and because folk often miss that...

Sorry about the birthday business.. perhaps I should be blocked for bad netBehaviour.

" I wept because I had no shoes until I saw a man who had no
tear-ducts." the quote is by Alan.. not by Simone.  Alan loves
life.. he is not a hunger artist/suicide philosopher.

Fung Lin

Thanks!

come across this quote by Simone Weil.
