The small person in front of the flashing billboards.

Jasna Frangovska interviews Senka Anastasova Dr of Philosophy from the
Sts. Cyril and Methodius University from Skopje of the Republic of
Macedonia, about the strange feeling of the New Year under the dark
shadow of the economic crash. Right before the most commercialised of
all holidays, written whilst facing the year in which the world
recession has gripped the Western hemisphere officially knock on our
doors. The holidays represent a glamorous festivity of the consumer
society that we all live in – culturally, economically and politically.
