My solo exhibition, Where It Falls, and Promesas, a contextualizing exhibition of
contemporary and historical artworks and materials, close at the Print Center, Philadelphia,
PA on July 28th.

It is satisfying seeing the images get loose. It is also a tremendous honor to have
work hanging in close proximity to amazing art, maps, broadsides from across more
than 100 years. Many thanks to the Print Center and to the Special Collections [http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001J3ITVwZAwQJPK6FXl4ZyJFGCgVyzjqGh37QDjPW6m-a8x0v9MmErURvaT0-oMd-gr0pXzHbs7KoaUT7MuVGYp3Jbk9Z0AVksnm_5o36FhwSMcO3c5oIGNvn1sAnvqgTgzzvqMndPokxQC4ImJxHj_NVfUA1dwDAGGelY7FjYS2o=]
at the Newark Public Library for making that possible.

Where It Falls is titled after text fragments from the original 1713 survey of Newark,
NJ. The survey defines the boundaries of the city with 4 trees, each of which is
 individually described, and the Passaic River. Promesas is titled after John Fekner's
iconic work in the South Bronx, images of which got loose via newspapers and TV 
most famously on August 5th 1980.
