Hi Dave,
It has been on the cards the last couple of years.
The programs themselves were very well organized and setting it all up,
as in getting people to the studio to discuss their work live was one of
the themes and qualities of the program. Also, setting up all the
questions for the interviews took time, as well as getting the sound
files and music ready for each broadcast. Luckily, my past experience
from pirate radio came handy, plus working with great individuals such
as Charlotte frost on the first broadcasts, and then Irini Papdimitriou
and Jonathan Munro. This helped in getting a varied selection of
individuals and groups to take part.
And yes, if we did do it again - it would more likely take the form of a
pirate station and broadcast for whole days where people could upload
their own material. However, because we are so busy at the moment and
have just opened the Furtherfield Commons, another space it may be a
little while, we'll see ;-)
wishing you well.
