[NetBehaviour] book of primes, an altered book

HI Edward
163 isn't on page 163 because the way the book was altered means a prime
appears once every four numbered pages. ( for n>2 the page the nth prime appears on is given by 4n -11)
The anomalies are there (as is the project) because I was feeling skittish and I think art could do with more skittishness.
If I was given to artist statements and solemnity I could spin a yarn
about it 'asking questions about representation' and all that sort of
bollocks. Don't get me wrong -it was three days labour on and off and
I'm glad I did it, I don't think it was a waste of my time.
It's a thing; it's there...
Thanks so much for looking & asking. Off to look at the new "Hairy" now...
warmest
michael

Michael -
I'm interested in the anomalies. Why is 163 a stag? (And why isn't
it on page 163?) Why is 193 Elvis? Why is 227 a cube? (I feel as
if I may be missing something obvious of a mathematical nature
here.)
