Hi and thanks, the two reasons for the screen grab - one is a kind of 
precis, inviting the viewer to spend time with the video (which is fairly 
complex); the other, as you say, is to emphasize the technological 
structure within which the original 'real' scene is embedded, perhaps a 
Brechtian moment.
