That is an interesting point you make re: gender. It is hard to portray an experience so personal, one with which another may deal with in such a different way, but at the same time make it feel accessible/ allow the viewer to connect. (not sure if that makes sense !)

i dunno, it feels authentic to my own experience, probably has something to do with mirroring- maybe gender too- have had this conversation many times
