[NetBehaviour] As Facilitated - A series of instructive-descriptive artworks based on Tate data

IT'S... TIME TO MAKE ART! Someone once wrote, "Art is anything you can
get away with". Here to help you to get away is an outsourced OEM device
for the arts, facilitating an Original Artwork Manufacturing through
metadata only. Because once we know how artworks are described, we can
generate new descriptions for possible artworks. This "OAM" machine thus
provides instructions how to make an artwork, specifying medium,
dimension, and the subject of the work. Chances are that you can get
away with it, since the new artwork will be based on descriptions of
70,000 real artworks from Tate (a famous art institution). Moreover, we
propose to consider these descriptions as artwork in themselves, as a
form of conceptual art. Save and share the ones you like, or they'll be
forever lost, as Jack Handey says, "If you ever accidentally drop your
keys into a river of molten lava, let 'em go, because man, they're
gone." Such is the despaired frenzy of art production in the digital
age...
