IJAD Dance Company is looking for a digital artist / experience designer /
web developer to collaborate on a performance, Room For Wonder *, on Friday
22 May, 2015. There is a *small fee available for this project (£500-750*).
IJAD Dance Company develops new forms of dance for the digital sphere,
making contemporary dance accessible, participatory and connective. Founded
on the ethos that the arts should shape our digital future, IJAD creates
high-quality dance and researches innovative digital platforms.

 We are looking for someone who can work with us to deliver *some* of the
below* i**n a** basic **form*:

 -  A mechanism through which remote viewers' digital input can be
integrated into the live performance (via physical objects, projections,
aesthetically-pleasing versions of a twitter feeds etc.)

OR

-  A website that can host live-streams of the performance alongside
audience input in an innovative way

AND/OR

-    An archive (to be developed by late June 2015) that allows users to
explore how audience and participant input was turned into choreography
during workshops, rehearsals and performance.

 **About Room For Wonder:*

 *Room for Wonder* is a multi-media dance project that explores how our
experience of fairytales matures as we leave childhood. The project has
been developed through intergenerational workshops with Tower Hamlets
community groups.Before and after this performance, audiences and online
participants will have access to the creative process through open
rehearsals, social media exchanges and the digital archive.
*Room For Wonder* looks at how sensory experiences can be communicated
across generations and cultures. The performance is interactive and
tactile, audiences will spark the dancers' movements as they explore
textures, smells and lights, inspired by experiences and memories of
fairytales. IJAD would be delighted to hear from artists interested in this
type of work and who have other ideas of how a digital/physical co-creation
crossover could be achieved in performance. We are very open to different
ways of using and incorporating digital work into the fabric of the
choreography and welcome new ideas.
