For the first three months of 2011 (including tsunami event: a floating
world: a symbolic language), while on Hateruma Island, (SW Yaeymas),
Japan, I collected embellished vertical headlines from YAEYAMA MAINICHI
SHINBUN (newspaper) and have digitally collaged them with my
perhaps-prophetic photos of flotsam along various piers as well as typical
