This is great.
Two interesting things are artists who emerged from the cultural hinterlands
through the Net, and other things like the event I¹m studying about the
imdigenous telematic interaction proposed in the 80¹s between the Inuit and
the Japanese Ainu, as well as the South Pacific interactions. Anybody up
for a trip to Rarotonga?

Hi Ruth and Everyone,
I have made a doodle with 5 dates that would work for me in the next month.
Perhaps everyone who is interested in a discussion (about the exhibition,
Networking the Unseen, digital colonialism, and what we can learn about
media and digitalisation from communities outside the urban mainstream)
could indicate which dates would work for them, and we can then take the top
1 or 2 dates as our appointments for an online meet-up. Just to clarify,
8.30 pm CET would be 7.30 for those in the UK.
Enter preferences here:

Might also be interesting for some of you to know that this
exhibition/project will be touring to Germany next year, where the
indigenous artists¹ work will be shown alongside European artists also using
similar strategies to unpick the effects of and interactions between
cultural change and digitalisation.
Looking forward to more discussion!
