clearing my mind after the conference,
i turned towards the thickets of my mind,
listened to the mind of mockingbirds -
i wonder what dark vein is being mined
as if a natural mind were excavated,
changing the mind of everything singing
mined among mimids, unmined among minds,
neither mocking nor adulation,
neightbors among neighbors,
somber words and tunes -
