We’re the 99% beyond the green screen

A call to participate
A call to demonstrate
A call to simulate
A call to occupy and remix the green screen realm

Greencube.gallery is pleased to announce the OPEN CALL for its featured
project YOUR CONTENT IS HERE curated by TWT1 that will be presented at its
own pavilion for the third edition of The Wrong New digital biennale from
November 1st 2017 to January 31st 2018.

YOUR CONTENT IS HERE plays on the (de)construction of meaning in the
digital era, moving signs and symbols between physical and virtual space.

The project is comprised of two parts: the first one, which have already
taken place in May 2017, consists in a manifestation in public space where
people carry and show flags and signs in a “green screen” style. The
collective performance has been documented and then splitted in 42 short
video clips ready to use for remix purposes.

The second part is where you are all invited to participate.
All the videoclips have been edited and retouched to be easily worked on
with any chroma key tool. So, all the artists are invited to fill the green
spaces over the screen with their contents, creating their vision of the
protest through remixing and editing.

If interested just send a short bio to info at greencube.gallery and we will
provide you with all the material needed to create your own protest. Please
note that the only requisite to participate to the pavillion is to not be
part of any other Wrong pavillion.

The selected works will be then publicly presented as an online exhibition
at http://greencube.gallery/ in the context of The Wrong New digital
biennale from November 1st 2017.
