[NetBehaviour] notes for performance philosophy session on saturday

Just a couple of notes here. If you treat identity as mathematical
identity, i.e. A is A (where "is" is 3 horizontal lines), then it doesn't
diverge in the same way, i.e. it places the person-x as a core. I played
with substituting "body" for identity, i.e. physical body, my body for
example or the body "of" a refugee; this grounds the discussion oddly, but
perhaps keeps one aware that, even if someone begging is using a card
receiver, there is still that the body of someone, that we never forget
the body. For me as an 'Amerikkkan' (forgive the pun) this touches on
issues of bodies, people, killed by the police (who get off, as you know
yet another case of that yesterday)...

There have been numerous 'tests' in the states, a black and a white
applying for jobs, going into hotels, etc. etc., as you speak about, and
you already unfortunately know the results...

Best!, Alan, and thank you for the notes; they're fascinating
