oddly enough that work I put up yesterday was similar in intent.
i've been working outdoors with instruments as much as possible.
the kyizi is a ritual Burmese instruments (19th-century).

our literally insane dictator is threatening to shut down the government 
if he doesn't get his wall. his election promise - the wall would be built 
by Mexico - another insane idea. his election promise - the wall would be 
built - worse. (no one talks about the ecological disaster this is 
creating.)

i keep going back to the sound of the kyizi, what else is there?
why are men like this allowed to survive and wreak havoc on the world?

so yes, it was designed to clear the air, create sonic envelopes
of beauty and peace - in spite of the fact that Burma turned into Myanmar 
and Rohingya genocide.

and we have our own native tendencies towards genocide here.

i wish art could accomplish more ...
