It was great to have the opportunity to share some of the history of Furtherfield. I remember thinking that if we carried on discussing even more of the history, people, contexts, projects, and ideas, it would very likely take another 8 hours -- so much that has happened.

Well, yes - magazines, or rather zines were very much part of my own growing - reading what peres had to say, as they questioned what culture was colelctively.
I think you'de be hard pushed to feel as free now. Many things are closing down - it's like it's a clamp down. Of course - it's our job to open things up :-)
