after an afternoon talking with Mitchell Clark about Afghan
music, difference between rubab and rebab, issues of Japanese
wagon and koto and Chinese se and qin, and after a night of
tuning and retuning rubab, and thinking about 'amenable,' this
emerged, before finishing preparing for our trip to Toronto
(Hello Margie! Henry! Ian! Julian! Liz!), this emerged, and
here we are, I'm listening to this and to all of you, thinking
as Mitchell said, what a beautiful instrument!
