Alan,

Thanks for pointing out those bad links, it gave me the opportunity to
replace the images (created with old automation) with larger versions.

I think that the whole end-of-history thing that coincided with post-modern
thinking was questionable at best. It seemed to me that Fukuyama’s thesis
was made to prop up the dubious intentions of the fundamentalist-supported
Reagan administration that has, by the way, been praised by the current
one. By extension, this moral relativism supports the indignities of the
capitalist machine. The atomist attitude of what does any of it mean except
as it relates to me is false in that we have never existed in a vacuum and
that the vectors that we ride are never entirely our own.

But then again, I think that perhaps you are just speaking of that
end-of-life, sick-of-it-all feeling – or more broadly, the end of life as
we know it.
