because the water was there and people were around and sound,
and time to echo, echo, the fife in the barrier well,
because it seemed at first there was no one around,
and the cavern was waiting in the shape of a resonant bell,

and the demons surpassed the tone of the fife,
for the water was there and the people were found,
within and without the bell in the sound,
and the barrier played, and no rain around,
and the fife slayed the music, no people were found,
so run for your life when you hear the bleak fife,
in the hurricane barrier, where demons abound.
