*Join artist Toni Buckby for a workshop in sonic embroidery! Saturday 9th
November 12.00 - 17.00, Access Space, Sheffield, UK.*

Learn how to stitch 'soft circuits' and program your embroidery to create
sound when touched.

No previous knowledge of embroidery, programming or electronics is required.

£50 per place. The cost includes all electronics and materials so you are
welcome to take your piece home.

Toni Buckby is a Sheffield based artist and is currently studying for a PhD
with Sheffield Hallam University and The Victoria & Albert Museum exploring
how creative practice can preserve, reconstruct and disseminate blackwork
embroidery, a popular 16th-century English embroidery technique.
