on the way to playing and recording with Edward Schneider.
we recorded with tenor and garklein recorders, viola,
electric guitar, shakuhachi, and cura saz; Edward on alto
sax. beforehand I did this electric guitar solo, trying to
find ways to reduce my hand/arm movements to a minimum.
the guitar is an Ibanez, the amp a small Fender primarily
for acoustic instruments. video by Azure Carter. I know
I'm getting there, I know I'll never get there, I know
there's no place to get to, I know there's always another
place, I know there's no place at all, certainly for my
so-called music, I know there's no place at all. my
electric has six strings, two pickups, a volume knob a
three position switch, a two position switch. my guitar
is quite simple, two octave neck, very adjustable bridge.
my guitar has no effects. I play so-called music. thanks
