they live such a short time shorter than fruitflies
we've had a fruitfly in our place the past week or so
alas it's disappared and given birth
to numerous screenworms in unison counting their blessings
i'm sure they're sentient
in fact i know they're sentient
and we were blessed and lucky to see them
in their natural habitat
