(UK), who I'm a board member of, are after a general manager. We have some
incredibly interesting work coming up over the next few years, not to
mention Coventry City of Culture this year.

Ludic Rooms - General Manager

Salary: £23,000 pro-rata (0.4 FTE salary is £9079 per year)

Hours:  0.4 FTE (15hrs per/wk based on a 38 hour week)

Remote working under current restrictions. Flexible working hours may be
possible by negotiation.

At times it may be necessary to work outside standard office hours.

Initial fixed term basis of 6 months, 3 month probationary period.

Pension: An auto-enrolment scheme with NEST is available to all employees

Interview: It is anticipated that interviews will take place on Friday 26
February, interviews will be conducted virtually via Google Meet or another
video conferencing platform

Ludic Rooms, a postdigital arts studio based in Coventry, is looking for a
proactive and self-directed General Manager to join our small but busy
team. Ludic Rooms produces artworks, events, education and socially engaged
projects with a collaborative approach and a passion for creative
technology.



We are looking for someone with experience of working in a management,
administration or development role. This could be in any sector, as long as
there is a willingness to transfer knowledge to the specifics of the
cultural sector.



We need a General Manager to take the reins of our day-to-day operations,
have oversight over our financial management and help grow the good work we
do here at Ludic Rooms.

As a starting point, we would expect the successful applicant to perform
the following:


   -

   Management of all financial and  administrative processes
   -

   Management of the company’s day-to-day operations and systems
   -

   Contribute to the company’s sustainability and financial planning
   -

   Development and maintenance of the profile of the organisation
