(I'm speculating that the Roman Mithraeum might have been
built to create resonances at particular frequencies. See
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Mithraeum for example.
Would be interesting to map the acoustic properties of the
structure. I was thinking of the Roman cornu in such a space,
