Found this recently; below the image it says "Mr. Goodbar"
It's so faded... I loved Mr. Goodbar Hershey bars. I was
always eating them, energy... We were good friends then,
work of hers in my Individuals anthology. Her performances
were amazing, I still remember them, even in some detail.
The image fades, my memory grows strong with the day. Even
from yesterday, I remember everything. It's as if I could
reach out just so far and memory would fade away, the
physicality of what we call the past, its imminence, would
again be paramount. Any month, any day or night, any hour.
The t-shirt is so faded, and I'm always already breathing
my last, hoping to breathe my first, always once again.
