[NetBehaviour] Disassociation from Michel Bauwens - a major issue with P2P Foundation

Hi Helen,
It's tragic, really,

We've worked with the P2P Foundation a few times in the past and with
Michel. I've referenced some of the projects, interviews and ideas shared
in my PhD.

This was all before this strange move by him to be seemingly a
centrist/right-wing approach. Many have argued on Facebook against his
shift in supporting misogynists, racists and bigots, openly on the P2P
Foundation list on Facebook. His stance has betrayed all the brilliant
people who have generously given their help to build the P2P Foundation
through the years.

"Right-wing tropes are commonly found in the posts Bauwens curated in
recent years, including the claim that anti-racists and feminists promote
“reverse racism” and “misandry”, that Black Lives Matter is a “neo
racialist” movement seeking societal domination, that white privilege
theory oppresses whites because of innate characteristics, that the
transgender rights movement is “anti-woman”, and that social justice
movements seek “inverse status hierarchies” or “reverse hierarchies of
domination” in which white males are permanently at the bottom."

It's also worth reflecting here that groups of people who support
individuals as gurus are common problems. Still, society has programmed the
masses to support easy hegemony and (so-called) geniuses. This is part of
the issue here.

Sad times :-(

Wishing you well.

Marc
