Shaklyn 1+2 wander through a strange and surreal landscape.
As the hours tick by, their thoughts turn dark, and they find themselves
drowning in a sea of anxiety and despair. In a panic, they reach for their
elevation device, trying to do something, anything, that would help them
make sense of what they are seeing. But their hands are shaking so badly
that they can't operate it, and they feel themselves sinking deeper and
deeper into the abyss.

The black hole bends time so much that it wraps back on itself.

They are suddenly pulled back to a previous reality, their senses flooded
with the smell of coffee and the taste of cake. They look around,
disoriented, and realize that they are back in the elevator, surrounded by
familiar faces.
The doors open to the Memory Extraction Facility. Shaklyn 1+2 cautiously
step inside, trying to blend in with the group of visitors who had come to
see the inner workings of the facility.

The air is filled with the smell of disinfectant and the sound of buzzing
machines. As they make their way through the sterile corridors, Shaklyn 1
can't help but feel a sense of unease. S/He knows what had happened the
last time s/he had encountered the machine, and the thought of going
through it again makes their stomach churn.
But then, as they turn a corner, they come face to face with a sight that
leaves them both in stitches. There, in the middle of the hallway, is
somebody in a lab coat - but s/he isn't just anybody. S/He is wearing a
giant banana costume.

"Looks like they have a sense of humor here," whispers Shaklyn 2, trying to
keep a straight face.

But their amusement is short-lived. As they near the machine, they see a
group of guards standing watch, armed and ready to take down anyone who
tries to interfere. Shaklyn 1+2 know that they have to be careful.
