*"Distant Feeling(s)"* has been happening mostly in the framework of a
one-time reconnection each year. A practice that goes into its 7th year,
and where all interested are invited to participate and share this moment
of collective togetherness.
While distant from each other, this moment in time is activated as a
reflection of a globalized dispersed society connected electronically
through communication channels made possible by the internet. The outcome
is the intangible personal experience of going through this moment, with *eyes
closed* and in *silence*, while co-existing with others via an online video
conferencing platform; and a video documentation of that connection, where
each person is traversed by whatever feelings they allow themselves to go
through (silently) *during 15 minutes*.
Each iteration holds in itself the context of the world as it is - as an
act of resilience opposing the increased velocity of life and its digital
data collection.
