Hi and apologies -
If anyone has any idea how to build up viewship on YouTube or Facebook, please
let me know. I know the quality of my work, and I know it's going absolutely
nowhere. I'm not sure how long I can continue in a vacuum? Thanks, Alan,
backchannel welcome -

Here's a brief description of what I'm about - thanks -
Alan Sondheim, work, URLs, and brief description:
http://www.alansondheim.org/alansondheim.jpg
I work in numerous media, from 3d printing through codework,
performance, music improvisation, virtual worlds, electronic
literature, and a considerable amount of theory. I emphasize, in
all of this, the primacy of the mind and body from the viewpoint
of phenomenology articulated by technological acumen. I'm
concerned about the global violence and destructive politics
increasing daily, as the planet heats; my work is situated
somewhere among refugees, stasis, haptic knowledge, fundamental
philosophy and its critique, and all of this as performance,
tabulation, and query. I work across platforms with and without
others, dealing with such entities as "emanents" (avatars with
problematic extensions), "edgespace" (problematic boundaries),
and avatar distortions through modified motion capture
equipment, inconceivable mappings of real and virtual bodies
through dance and other performance modalities, and sculptural
modeling in the small. My playing fields are often mined, the
result of war, scarcity, and genocide; I examine their psycho-
geography, their behavior. I put up work online daily, and have
been doing this as a practice since 1993. My work is continuous,
and a continuous examination of the issues above, which I find
difficult, necessary, and tragic in a very real sense.
