two pieces, two days:
What Then and Trying
https://youtu.be/pUy0a0f2wEM video: what then
What Then:
What Then was created on a local host virtual world; the frame
rate is extremely low because of the load placed on the
computer. It uses experimental voice to text into the vr which
increases the load and keep cutting out. The result is surely a
disturbance which characterizes everything. Today was a
difficult day; someone I knew was killed among other things.
What I cannot deal with, I place elsewhere almost as if but not
quite everything and nothing reverberates in the world, dying
out as we surely do. Trying, the second, is about the parceling
of virtual space, a space cornered, language pushed to the
edges. What we speak really doesn't refer anyway no matter what
one thinks, but what we speak can create barriers, for example
where I can and cannot go in this city. These are bad karma
pieces almost like talismans. O wish for me that these reverse
or are held in abeyance. Today's piece, What Then
They're meditative, text and minimally animated.
They're almost not there perhaps not there at all. I turn the
corner and cannot see myself in the mirror and I disappear, I
learn to disappear in this fashion and disappear now without the
aid of this or any other mirror, nothing more than mirrored
thought almost like thin strata or sheaves, absent of writing or
location, absent of life or death.
