[NetBehaviour] 1. Re: Jerusalem Minefield 1962 and Music for Hell (Alan Sondheim)

I keep thinking of _aporia_ :
"aporia
Rhetoric. the expression of a simulated or real doubt, as about where to
begin or what to do or say."
Logic, Philosophy. a difficulty encountered in establishing the theoretical
truth of a proposition, created by the presence of evidence both for and
against it.
Or: no way, nowhere to proceed, resulting (I think) in anxiety, also
difficult to define, an internal twisting/torsion/tension with no path to
proceed (but one must keep moving / one must stay alive):
-- which is where for believers prayer comes in - and that can well lead to
darkness as well as solace --
I'm reading (the twistings and turnings of Karl Kraus) which helps as I
become entangled in tangled language in the shadow of the embryonic
Holocaust -
Or at times, reading Lamentations and meditating on long time - but then
realizing with current weaponry and communications, how short earthly time
and space have become -
Then there are local news here, a close friend now in hospital after a
serious bicycle accident (we speak to the extent we can), that highschool
friend part of a mass murder -
Sometimes I think - it's better to not know, just in order to proceed - but
procedures themselves falter -
Back to Kraus (The Third Walpurgis Night), Kristeva's Powers of Horror
again later today (I think)

Question - does art-making, email list discussions, music help you? (it
does me)

Thanks and apologies for going on here, Alan
