"*Distant Feeling(s)*" has been happening mostly in the framework of a
yearly reconnection, now entering its 8th year. A gathering inviting all
interested to participate and share this moment of collective togetherness.

Over the years, we've witnessed the Internet transform into a space shaped
by borders and nationalities, algorithms dictate personal choice,
video-conferencing tools are defined as "workspaces" tailored for
productivity and an overwhelming amount of information and consumerist
content floods our streams. Amid this noise, *DF* aims to open a space for
quietness and reflection, evoking a different kind of togetherness across a
distance.

The outcome is the intangible personal experience of co-existence with
others, with *eyes closed* and in *silence*, disrupting what the digital
space has become; it continues beyond the connection as a video
documentation capturing the expressions of each person while being
traversed by whatever feelings they allow themselves to go through
(silently) during *15 minutes*.

Each iteration holds in itself the context of the world as it is - as an
act of resilience opposing acceleration.
