I remember the Poetics list - how important that was at one point -
And Cybermind and Wryting (which was originally FoP, fiction of 
philosophy) -

Jerry Everard wrote Virtual States: The Internet and the Boundaries of the 
Nation-State, published all the way back in 2000 and still worth reading - 
the political economy of email lists among other things -
