yeah! what a mammoth task, but i'm sure the fun and delight will
outweigh the enormity; such an important archive. thank you! can't wait
to see what it all emerges as 🙂

>> Ruth and I had a fantastic day last week at the Furtherfield Gallery, diving into the archive—and wow, is there a lot of it! Nearly 30 years’ worth of artworks, events, projects, exhibitions, books, magazines, and more. It’s thrilling to see so much physical evidence of this vibrant history right at our fingertips.
>>
>> We’ve been collaborating with a fantastic mix of people and orgs to bring this archive to life. Pita Arreola, for instance, is helping us kick-start a digital archiving project (early days, but watch this space - website upgrades and an accessible archive are in the works!).
>>
>> For about a year now, I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Régine Debatty (writer, curator, critic, and founder of We Make Money Not Art) and Martin Zeilinger, PhD (Reader in Computational Arts & Tech at Abertay University). More brilliant minds are joining the mix—we’re just fine-tuning the details to make sure everything aligns smoothly.
>>
>> It is truly magical to be flipping through this treasure trove of collective genius. Artists who’ve spent decades (and still are!) smashing boundaries, ditching tired art-world tropes, and building emancipatory new worlds. Their work is a masterclass in sharp critique, blending art, tech, ecology, and media to ask necessary questions as part of the practice. History in motion, and we get to help amplify it.
