great! puts me in mind of Furtherfield's participatory 'Rosalind' project from, almost unbelievably, 2004...
The link seems dead but I'm pasting below an extract of a mail from 2005 which gives a flavour. It's pleasing to see the combination of appreciation &  scepticism ( different of course from the *unrelenting hostility & opposition* which is the proper response to 'AI')  towards all things digital evinced within a ground breaking new media site/organisation even then. How far sighted!

- Upstart Media Art lexicon.
=================================================

Rosalind.
http://www.furtherfield.org/rosalind/
An upstart new media art lexicon. Feed Rosalind with your own words and
definitions to express and declare what you are, what you do and the
worlds you create, on your own terms. Influence and mutate her, help her
to maturity.

Your words may :

- describe something very particular to your life/experience/work.
- be invented in a moment of desperation.
- arise in conversation with others.
- already be in circulation.

Examples:

mail listlessness - Anxiety and ennui due to overwhelming list mail in
inbox as a consequence of phobic sense of missing something which is not
there. Added by Patrick Lichty.

Glass Roots - An unacknowledged discriminatory barrier that prevents
those minorities privileged by class or financial resources from
accessing the source of distributed power or responsibility, as exists
within a local community. Added by ruth catlow.

telememetics - Study of how memes transmit over networks, what effect
the existence and use of networks has on the spread and uptake of
memetic infection I invented the word, it is itself a meme. Reference :
http://www.telememetics.com  - Added by ivan007.

netropy - propriety that implies that through time, the Internet is
forced to always become more and more chaotic. Added by Clemos.

catechstrophy - a disastrous technology problem or breakdown,
particularly used in the context of live art, performance or
installation which involves computers. added by Neil Jenkins.

parasitic media - "The parasite is the mystical computer glitch. The
parasite is the bandwidth thief. The parasite is the invisible usurper.
The shift that takes place in the host, if any, is one so gradual the
parasite will be able to feed and thrive without detection. The
invisibility of the parasite is only through the eyes of its host
organism." Reference : http://www.carbondefense.org/writing_7.html - Added by

Dear list members,

Please join us for the Reverse Contradictionary workshopon 29th June, 4-6pm. Together, we will challenge the predatory logicof AI and experiment with word-making as a creative practice of resistance.

The Reverse Contradictionary is a "Dictionary of NewWor(l)ds" created by net.artist Vuk Ćosić, the collective IOCOSE, andacademic and artist Vladan Joler. The book presents confrontational neologisms designedto challenge and overturn the predatory, algorithmic logic of statisticallanguage.

We'll start by introducing the project, its approach, andsome of its most provocative entries, brought to life through illustrations byVladan Joler.

In the second half of the session, participants will bedivided into small groups and invited to invent new words: neologisms that pushback against the computational mediocrity of Large Language Models. Throughrapid brainstorming and collective making, your contributions could find theirway into a future edition of the book (with full credit given!).

This event brings together academics, artists, postgraduatestudents, and practitioners from arts and culture institutions for an afternoonof creative exchange, critical debate, and playful resistance. No priorexpertise in linguistics, technology, or the arts is required.

A drinks reception will follow.

This event is hosted and organised by members of KCL's Centre for Digital Culture PaoloRuffino (who is also a member of the collective IOCOSE), Joanna Zylinska, andDavid Young.
